At the beginning of July, I spent ten days in Bali on a sponsored trip with The Asia Collective. The last hotel on the trip was The Westin in Nusa Dua. If you're planning on visiting Bali, it's a great resort to spend time relaxing, enjoying fantastic food, and drooling over Bali's iconic sunrises from the beach.
Planning your Trip to Westin Nusa Dua
Established in the 1970s, Nusa Dua is located in the Southern-most tip of Bali and is a popular resort location. It's known for great food, white sand beaches, and calm, clear water that is perfect for swimming. Despite the vast number of hotels, you can still find cultural attractions such as temples, museums, and natural landmarks in this region. Beachfront settings and intricate pools make Nusa Dua the perfect spot for honeymooners and families looking to have a relaxed vacation.
With over 20 resorts, it's difficult to choose one that will make your vacation its absolute best. Look no further than The Westin for your next trip.
I also enjoyed that fact that we could make The Westin home base and easily take day trips and know that we had a cozy place to come back to at the end of a long day exploring Bali.
The Westin Resort is nestled on a white sand beach overlooking the Indian Ocean. The experience: wellness and luxury. This 5-star resort is a gated community with 433 rooms, two pools, seven restaurants and of course beach-front access with gorgeous views of the sunrise over the Indian Ocean.
When entering the resort, we were immediately greeted by the welcoming and accommodating staff and given welcome drinks while we were settling in.
The rooms are modern and fit the relaxing vibe of the rest of the hotel. They each have a soaking tub, rain shower, and balconies overlooking the surrounding area. Sunlight pours into the space making it ideal for photographers and bloggers. Larger suites have private pools with the option of pool and ocean views (highly recommended)
With over seven restaurants to choose from at Westin Nusa Dua you'll definitely spend your trip feeling full and satisfied! From Balinese to continental to Italian to Japanese, you will find a variety of food that will fit all tastes. Here are my favorites:
Who would have thought that some of the best Italian food I've ever had would be in Bali! This restaurant has a great vibe and even better food. They also serve Sunday brunch.

The Heavenly Spa at Westin
One of the highlights during my stay at Westin was Yoga and a massage at The Heavenly Spa. I started my day with early morning yoga followed by a few hours at the spa. The termal pools and sauna relaxed all my sore muscles and the massage with Yuli was the best I've ever had. I cannot recommend this place enough!
I found the staff at Westin to be some of the most welcoming and friendly people I have ever met. They went above and beyond to make sure our experience was top-notch and even followed up with us after we were home. They are accommodating to guests needs and are ready to make your vacation everything you've ever dreamed of!
The Westin is also a great place for kids. Although I don't have any and can't say first-hand, I heard that it was one of the top recommended resorts in the area for families with kids. They have activities, a kid's spa, cooking classes, waterslides, and much more.
For the Photographer & Blogger
The Westin has excellent known and hidden spots for photos as well as clean lines and bright colors to make your photos really pop. I recommend waking up for sunrise and exploring the pool area and the beach.
Here are some of my favorite spots for photos:
I had a wonderful time at Westin – Nusa Dua and would recommend this resort to everyone especially if you are traveling as a family or looking for a place that has it all.
Thank you to Westin for having me!!
